Workshop

Premeditated Business Networking

Because…success doesn’t just happen.

Can you tell a “professional visitor” from “someone who really wants to get business done?”

Have you ever met someone, had a brief discussion, then afterwards wondered . . .

  • · What was her/his name again?
  • · What did he/she say she did?
  • · Why would I care?
  • · Did he/she want something?

There are those that dive into a well-rehearsed elevator pitch....like a runaway train, full speed ahead without regard or understanding of where they are going.

Some people believe in the “throw enough crap at the wall something will stick” approach to selling. But when you are selling yourself, what you do or how you get it done, this method can just leave a real mess to clean up later.

Many business professionals look for business in an Apple Orchard when they should be in the Orange Grove. Would you know if you were in the right place?

When marketing your business to your peers, associates and potential clients they need to be excited to do business with you. Not just know what you do.

In this 3.5 – 4 hour workshop:

  • · You will learn how to market your business and build a team of strategic sales professionals that work together.
  • · Take a quick tour of where you are at now.
  • · Map out your business and strategic partners - creating clarity like never before.
  • · Create a concise marketing plan and set goals.
  • · Learn how to effectively work an event and capitalize on every opportunity.
  • · Many people think business networking is Facebook, LinkedIn or You Tube what role do they play in making connections?
  • · We will tie in Social Networking with Business Conventional Networking and how they work together.

We will learn how to capitalize on the 78% peer recommendation for your products and services.

After this workshop you will have a clear, concise understanding of how to market and communicate your business.

Because Knowledge Is Your Power,

Rita

So many options: Here’s the playlist from Billy Joel's Winston-Salem concert
One of the burning questions for me approaching Saturday evening’s Billy Joel concert at Wake Forest University’s BB&T Field was how on earth would the Piano Man settle on a playlist. With more than five decades as a singer-songwriter, the 69-year-old Joel certainly had no shortage to choose from. That was all settled during a two-hour concert that drew a capacity crowd that packed the stadium with more than 30,000 fans. The list of more than 20 songs was of course heavily weighted to greatest…

The grades are in: For the sixth year, the N.C. Department of Public Instruction has rated North Carolina schools using a “college and career readiness” standard. For this report, the Charlotte Business Journal analyzed data for schools with grades nine and higher. The data is based on end-of-course…

Estates of NFL player, Checkers owner and 'Ricky Bobby' mansion among priciest 2018 home sales so far in Meck County
Some high-profile residential properties have sold this year, carrying with them some equally impressive price tags. For instance, there was the Cornelius mansion along the shores of Lake Norman that traded hands for $4 million in February. That European-style property on Connor Quay Court came to fame after its appearance in "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" — as the residence of Will Ferrell's character, Ricky Bobby, in the NASCAR spoof. Next, we have the the south Charlotte abode…

This shop at Concord Mills wants to become a destination for quality coffees, ice cream, desserts and wine. Flick picks: ‘First Man’ puts audience in iconic boots of Neil Armstrong
One of the boldest feats in human history was carried out by one of the most reserved of men: Neil Armstrong, the first person to walk on the moon. Director Damien Chazelle (“La La Land,” “Whiplash”) explores this dichotomy in “First Man” — part engineering procedural, part domestic drama, with a stunning, almost spiritual climax on the lunar surface. Ryan Gosling gives a masterfully controlled performance as the taciturn naval aviator, test pilot and astronaut, who announces emotionlessly…
